Bhulf Tón CLG go the distance to support Meath PPN food initiative meals on wheels for those in need.
We invite all members of our community to participate in this event. We aim to clock up over 1000km of distance run/walked in the next week. Simply do your part and post a picture of yourself and your distance clocked to the Facebook page here.
Mindful and respectful of the restrictions currently in place, we ask everyone to stay within their 2km radius and contribute in whatever way they can. Every contribution is very much welcome to support this worthy cause.
Secondary to this 1000km goal, Bhulf Tón CLG players are planning to move footballs by virtual relay from the perimeter of the parish to the pitch in BaileGhib. In the interests of safety, this is a virtual relay without the need for physical contact, i.e. we are simulating footballs, travelling from Wilkinstown / Kilberry / Donegal Rd / Bloomsbury / Rosmeen/ Teltown Road/ Bush Road and Tankardstown to the pitch.
As a result of COVID-19, on 21st April, Meath Partnership launched the Meath Food Initiative, providing weekly food hampers to Meath families most in need.
All monies raised will be used to buy food to go into the hampers to be delivered directly to families that need support in Co. Meath.
